Typologies
The Typologies card displays all definitions of a single Classification in a hierarchical structure, ranging from the most generic name to the most specific subdivision details.
Names marked with an asterisk (*) are considered canonical names. By canonical, we mean the name most commonly used in scientific literature. Other less frequently used names are considered typological synonyms of older usage. The majority of information about a typology is centralized in the canonical names.
